In my efforts to adapt my community-based art-making groups and workshops to COVID-19 I have shifted them into virtual spaces. These virtual spaces are now more accessible and continue to foster STRONG SOCIAL CONNECTIONS through art-making.
SOME virtual GROUPS I HAVE DEVELOPED INCLUDED: Queer Plushie workshop and kits with the mca, Queer plushie kits with Weinberg/newton gallery, Crafting Social justice discussion with Weinberg/newton gallery, Queer plushies 8 week virtual course with marwen, and Virtual plushie summer camps with Kidsstreet.
